For My Sisters In Christ

True Woman Manifesto

May God enable you to more deeply cherish and embrace the glorious, high calling of biblical womanhood--married or single--for the glory of Christ. And may He raise up many more like you.

Is it by accident or coincidence that I was sent a link to a 2006 John Piper conference message today in which this very document was mentioned? I think not! God is sending me a message as an individual Chrstian woman and as a married Christian woman, and he is sending "us", the collective body of women who belong to Christ, a very important message, and I for one am paying attention. :)

Hi Chris!

I just signed the True Woman Manifesto, and signed up for the 30-day True Woman makeover. I should be receiving the first email on Monday. I'm SO excited. Also, in the background, "Don't Waste Your Life" (very John Piper-ish!) is playing on my computer for the 4th time in a row. I can't wait to buy the album! My two-year-old son Michael was in the room with me when I started playing it the first time, and he started dancing and laughing. It was great!

Thank you for sharing this incredible music with us. Our family isn't much into rap, or hasn't been until this point, anyway, so I never would have heard of this amazing artist if it hadn't been for you. Praise God! :)

I also was just able to watch the video about election, and you're right, it's awesome! Perfect in its illustration, simplicity and power.

I am not able to listen to much on my computer at work, and don't have much free time in the evenings, so I was looking forward to having time to listen to these things this weekend. I certainly wasn't disappointed.

Many blessings to you!

In Christ,
Mel

That is awesome! I can't get that chorus out of my head... Don't wanna waste my life, life, life....

I love it!

You and your family are an encouragement to me. May God use your 30 day True Woman Makeover help to better shape your understanding of what it means not to waste your life as a woman created in His image.
